Federation came first...

In 1893 Victoria and New South Wales were linked by a new iron bridge by pioneer John Foord at Corowa and Wahgunyah. In the same year, the founder of Federation Sir Henry Parkes and the first Prime Minister Sir Edmund Barton met at Corowa with River Murray town leaders from the Colonies of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia to form the Border Federation League. The meetings were instrumental in Australia’s colonies agreeing to a Constitution to become the nation of Australia in 1901.  In 2001 exactly 100 years later Flow FM was born linking the three Colonies and the great river systems across South Eastern Australia.
